UK Reggae History returns to Brent Black Music Co Operative (BBMC) with a pop-up version of the 1970’s Lovers Rock UK Exhibition. On Saturday 19th July 2025 the BBMC celebrates 40 years in existence. This will be a FREE Event for the community to recognize those Reggae Icons who helped build the BBMC Legacy.
Starting from noon at 385 High Road, Willesden, London, NW10 2JR, there will be Performances, Exhibitions, Workshops, Open Mic showcases (courtesy of UK UNSIGNED celebrating 25 years) and great Caribbean catering.

UK Reggae History has teamed up with Black History Studies to bring the 1970’s Lovers Rock UK Pop-Up Exhibition to The Black Cultural Centre, 16–18 Hornsey Road, London N7 7BT from 2pm to 9pm on Saturday 1st February 2025.
At 6pm Colin Brown aka CeeBee Multimedia will host a Lovers Rock presentation and discussion.

Check out the 1970’s Lovers Rock UK Pop-Up Exhibition at the Free Black History Month Event on Friday 25th October 2024 from 6pm to late at the Selby Centre, Selby Road, Tottenham, N17 8JL.

Presentation by Colin Brown
An exclusive event celebrating reggae history at the PPL offices in Soho on Tuesday 20 February 2024. The event will be hosted in conjunction with UK Reggae History and will feature their ‘Lovers Rock’ exhibition, as well as an in depth talk and Q&A with Colin Brown from the foundation.

After our installations at BBMC, Harlesden, and at the WGLA, Croydon, the 1970’s Lovers Rock Exhibition moves to the Legacy Centre of Excellence, Birmingham, as part of their Roots Festival from 2nd October to 31 October 2023. EXTENDED to 31 December 2023. Free viewing is available: Monday-Friday 9.30am - 6pm; Saturdays 11-4pm. On show days (upstairs theatre) it’ll be available until 10pm.
